We believe it should be highlighted to show the opportunities and potentials that the forestry sector possesses.

Although the potential of the Amazon forests and the value of our tropical woods is well known, the forestry sector in Peru is currently in a period of ups and downs due to various factors that affect the entire value chain of wood:

Legality and traceability of the resource, sustainable sourcing, technology not in accordance with international standards -which does not allow an optimization in the use of the resource and the sub products- the logistical gap not overcome that reduces the competitiveness of the resource and forest products.
